Hogwarts Legacy – How to Learn Unforgivable Curses

There are a lot of different natures of Spells in Hogwarts Legacy that players will get to learn. The total number of spells that players will learn are 31 and 8 of them are Essential Spells and 23 are different nature spells. However, 20 of them are taught you by the Professors in the main quests and their assignments well as the remaining 3 are the Unforgivable Curses which is the Dark Magic.

What are Unforgivable Curses

Unforgivable Curses are prohibited inside Hogwarts and none of the Professors will ever mention or teach you the Unforgivable Curses. The Unforgivable Curses are known to be the Dark Magic and they all come with a precious price. These Curses are put out by the great wizards and witches of Slytherin House especially the Salazar Slytherin.

Learning unforgivable Curses

If you play along the main story of Hogwarts Legacy, you will come to know that there are 3 spells that you have not learned and these are the Unforgivable Curses. Players will have to follow a special questline of an NPC named “Sebastian Sallow”. Players will get this questline after they have been into the “Undercroft” with Sebastian.

After that, things will get heated between Sebastian and Ominis who is also another student of House Slytherin. You will get to encounter both of these in an argue in a quest named “In the Shadow of the Bloodline”. You will have to go to the Great Hall to talk to both of them and learn about the Dark Magic.

After you have done that, you will need to follow the questline of “In the Shadow” because in these quests, you will get to learn all the Unforgivable Curses. The unforgivable curses in Hogwarts Legacy are the following.

1. Crucio
2. Imperio
3. Avada Kedavra

You will be able to get all three of these Dark Magic Spells before you get to the final mission of the game. If you have already completed the game then you will have to do the quest later to unlock the spells.
