Hogwarts Legacy – How to Get Unicorn Hair

There are various materials and resources in the Wizarding World of Hogwarts Legacy that players will get as they explore and progress through the main story of the game. The materials and resources are used to grow various plants, brew different potions, and upgrade different Gear Items. The more precious materials are the ones that are used to upgrade gear items because they will increase the stats of your character. One of the rarest materials in the game is Unicorn Hair which can be used to upgrade your gear items.

Getting Unicorn Hair

As players upgrade their Gear Items to higher levels, they will be required to get Unicorn Hair to make the upgrade possible. Unicorns are one of the rarest magical beasts in the Wizarding World of Hogwarts Legacy and you can only find them in the Forbidden Forest. The area is accessible right from the early hours of the game but in order to catch a Unicorn you will be required a couple of spells. Once players have caught Unicorn with their Nab-Sack they will be required to release the Unicorn in the Vivarium in the Room of Requirement. It is necessary because you cannot get Unicorn Hair simply by catching the Unicorn. You will have to pet the Unicorn to get the Unicorn Hair. After you have put the Unicorn in one of the Vivariums, you will have to use the Brush and the Beast Feed.

You will get both of these items by completing the beast class at Hogwarts. You will have to use the Brush to brush the unicorn and after that feed it by using the Beast Feed. After taking care of the Unicorn, you will get the option to interact with it. Interact with it to get the Unicorn Hair.

You can also get the Unicorn Hair from the Brood and Peck store in Hogsmeade Village. Once you have unlocked the Hogsmeade area, go to the store and browse its inventory to find the Unicorn Hair. It will cost you 700 Gold Galleon for 1x Unicorn Hair. If you are at the end-game then it will not bother you much but if you are in early game then you might have to earn some Gold Galleon to get a number of Unicorn Hair for the upgrades.
