Hogwarts Legacy – How to Grow and Harvest Plants

Apart from fighting the Dark Wizards and Goblins, there are many other things that you can do in Hogwarts Legacy and one of them is growing plants. Since you will be required number of plants for many different things and items, you can also grow them by yourself so that you will have not to worry about finding them or buying them.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to Grow and Harvest Plants in Hogwarts Legacy.

Requirements to Grow and Harvest Plants

Players will not be able to grow and harvest plants from the beginning. First, they will have to learn how to grow and harvest the plants in the Herbology Class. You will have to take the Herbology Class by Professor Garlick and she will teach you all the basics. After that, you will have to progress further ahead in the game to unlock the “Room of Requirement”.

Once you have unlocked the Room of Requirement, you will be able to set up your own Pots in the Room and grow plants by planting the seeds in the pots.

Growing and Harvesting Plants 

Players can only grow plants inside the Room of Requirement. They will have to conjure the required pot for the plants they have to grow. For example, if they want to grow Chinese Chomping Cabbage, they will have to conjure a Potting Table with Medium or Large Pots. All the plants grow in the specific size of pots so, you will have to take that in notice. If you do not have unlocked the required pot size then you will have to buy the Conjuration Spellcraft for that pot from the Tomes and Scrolls shop in Hogsmeade.

Before you get to start growing plants make sure that you have bought the Seeds from the Shops in Hogsmeade Village. After that, you need to conjure the Potting Table in the Room of Requirement and then you need to interact with it. After that, you will be able to see the Seeds that you can plant in that Pot Size. Select the one you want to grow and then you will have to wait for a certain time for the plant to be fully matured and then you will be able to harvest it.

However, after harvesting the plant, you will not have to buy another seed for that plant, the timer will start again once you harvest the plant and it will be an unlimited supply of that plant. This is the reason that it is very useful and you will not run out of your combat plants or resources.
