How to Activate Lookout Landing Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom

As you come down from the Great Sky Island, the first thing that you will notice is that your Map is not unlocked. In order to unlock the map, you will have to activate the Skyview Towers that are spread throughout the Hyrule World. The very first Skyview Tower that players will get to unlock to reveal a portion of a map is Lookout Landing Skyview Tower.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to activate Lookout Landing Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom.

The Lookout Landing is the first area that you will have to visit in order to progress in the story. It is also recommended to complete the “Crysis at Castle Hyrule” quest to get useful accessory items that will help you activate the Skyview Towers in the Hyrule World. While doing the quest, you will get an introduction to the Skyview Tower and Purah will tell you to activate the Lookout Landing’s Skyview Tower. She will give you the Paraglider as well because we need it in the process of coming down after activating the tower.

The Lookout Landing’s Skyview Tower is the simplest tower to activate and you can do it by following the following steps.

  • Go through the main quest and meet Purah outside the Skyview Tower in Lookout Landing.
  • Talk to Purah and watch the cutscene to get the Paraglider.
  • Now, examine the center of the Skyview Tower and you will blast off to the sky.
  • Once the process of scanning the area is completed, you will unlock the map of the respective portion of the map.
  • Now, safely come down by using the Glider.
