How to catch spiders in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and earn more money with them

Entomology fans have a great time with Animal Crossing New Horizons. One of the most common activities in the game is hunting bugs with the net, and you have a wide variety to find, from fleas and ants to butterflies … or tarantulas.

Most of you will see them running and hovering around, and you will only have to remove the net to catch them. However, some are more elusive, and only come out in special conditions. We already talked about how to make ants and flies appear, and here we talk about another hidden bug: the spider.

And by spider, we mean a spider hanging from the trees, not the tarantula (a game fetish for its high berry value ). The spider is hidden in the trees, and to capture it we have to shake the trees. Some drop bells, some twigs, some wasps (which you can also hunt if you’re fast), and only a few drop a spider.

You will recognize it right away, but it immediately goes up to the leaves, so you have to be quick. Shake the tree with the equipped net (you can do it) and just go out, step back a little, turn quickly, and hit the net. It may take a few tries, but the spider is not going anywhere: if it hides, shake the tree again and it will fall.

Of course, you should know that the spider only appears between 19:00 in the afternoon and 8:00 in the morning. You can find it in any tree. Its price is low: they only give you 480 bells for it … so the best thing you can do is save it and wait for Kamilo, the chameleon that occasionally passes by the island and buys the bugs from a higher price: you can take 720 berries. And if you bring him three spiders (or any other bug) he will also make you a sculpture to decorate your house.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
