Clay is one of the essential resources in Windrose, as it is one of the early major discoveries crucial for making various crafting stations and Clay Bottles. To have a better start in your journey, it is essential to find Clay, so that you can make various stations like the Smelting Furnace and Charcoal Kiln. Moreover, crafting potions at the Alchemy Table will require Clay Bottles. If you are someone who wants to keep a load of potions for the adventures, Clay is a necessary resource for you. In this guide, we will tell you how to get clay in Windrose.

How to Get Clay in Windrose

You can get clay by mining the big muddy rock deposits on the ground, usually near the sand on the coastal and jungle islands. Search for a muddy rock deposit on the ground out in the open. You do not have to go into the caves to mine the clay. After finding the clay deposit, you need to mine it using the Stone Pickaxe, Copper Pickaxe, or any high-tier Pickaxe. The Stone Pickaxe is the first tier of Pickaxe you get to make at the Workbench using 3x Stone and 3x Wood.

Each Clay deposit holds an amount of 50-60 Clay, enough for you to craft essential crafting stations. However, crafting the Clay Bottles for the potions will require you to mine for clay frequently. It is best to clear out the clay deposit in one go, so that a new one spawns quickly. Moreover, if you want to mine clay quickly, then use the Copper or a high-tier pickaxe. This will not yield you more Clay, but will be more effective in mining the clay.

So, whenever you are exploring an island, always keep an eye out for the clay deposits. Mine the clay along your adventure, and store it to use it whenever required. Moreover, if you head to new islands for progress and exploration, bring Clay with you to make the essential stations. Alternatively, you can place down the Fast Travel Points, so that you can easily get the materials you need from the storage chests back at your original base.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
