How to Get the Golden Horse in Tears of the Kingdom

There are several horses in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that players will be able to tame. Other than the normal horses, players can also tame the Golden Horse which was personally tamed by Princess Zelda. Players can tame the Golden Horse pretty much like the normal horse but taming this horse is tied to a side quest that players will have to complete.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to Get the Golden Horse in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Get the Golden Horse in Tears of the Kingdom

You can find the Golden Horse at the Snowfield Stable which is on the Northwest side of the map near the Tabantha Snowfield region. When you get to the Stable, you will see the Golden Horse tied in a stable but in order to tame the Golden Horse yourself, you will have to do the Side Quest named “Zelda’s Golden Horse” by Penn. You will find him right next to the stable but in case you don’t see him then you will have to start another quest named “Potential Princess Sightings”. This quest is given by an NPC named “Traysi” at the Lucky Glover Gazette Stable.

Once you have activated this quest, go to the Snowfield Stable to find Penn and then start the required quest. Once the quest is started, you need to go in the North direction from the stable to get to the Golden Horse. You will see the horse from a distance and you need to approach it with stealth. When you walk in the slow even crouching, it makes noise. You need to walk very slowly while crouching towards the Golden Horse.

When you get close to the horse, press the A Button to mount it and then press the L Button repeatedly to tame it. Now, it will require more stamina than the normal horse. If you have about two lines of Stamina then you are good to go but if not then, you need to use the Stamina Food or Elixir while taming the Golden Horse to regenerate your stamina.
