How to Customize Your Horse in Tears of the Kingdom

As players explore the Hyrule World, they will get to tame several horses from different locations in Hyrule. After taming the horse, players can use the horse to traverse greater distances and can even make the horse their companion. As you will be taking your horse with you to explore and discover new areas of the Hyrule then you should consider customizing your horse as well.

How to Customize Your Horse in Tears of the Kingdom

You can only customize the registered horse in Tears of the Kingdom. Meaning, you must tame and register the horse before you get to customize it. Once you have found a horse, take it to a nearby stable and register it for 20 Rupees. By registering the horse, it will become your companion and you can take your horse whenever you want without even losing it. Once you have done all of the initial steps, you will be able to customize your horse with the following steps.

• You need to go to any Stable and talk to the NPC in the stable.
• Select the “Take Horse” option and then select the registered horse you want to customize.
• After that, talk to NPC again and you will see the “Customize Horse” option. Select this option and you will be taken to the customize screen.
• You will be able to customize your horse’s Equipment, Bridle, Manes, and much more.
• Most of the customization options unlock as you gain more Pony Points so, make sure to earn them by visiting new Stables or registering more horses.
• You just need to select the customization options you want to put on your horse and your horse will be customized.

After customizing the horse, leave the dialogue options and you will be able to ride your customized horse. You can customize it at any time by coming back to the stable without any cost.
