How to Get the Needle Legendary SMG in Dying Light: The Beast

Dying Light: The Beast offers a wide variety of weapons for Kyle to use against the zombies in Castor Woods. The weapons come in different rarities, with Legendary being the rarest. One of the earliest legendary weapons that players can acquire is the Needle, a Legendary SMG. It is a golden SMG that deals more damage than a regular SMG weapon. Acquiring this weapon early will make your playthrough a lot easier, especially when fighting with tougher zombies. Location of the Needle Legendary SMG in Dying Light: The Beast

The Needle SMG is located inside a locked door inside the Ranger Station southeast of the Monastery, the very first safe zone. As players start exploring the south side of the National Park, they will come across Mountain Shelter Point. The Ranger Station is directly in front of the Mountain Shelter Point.

How to Get the Needle SMG in Dying Light: The Beast

The garage door to the Ranger Station will be shut with a “DON’T OPEN DEAD INSIDE!” message written with blood. If you look to the right wall of the ranger station above the standby generator, you will see the power box. You need to connect the power cable to the power box to open the garage door.

To do so, climb on the container on the right and open its hatch to go inside. Interact with the generator inside to turn it on. Now, interact with the cable box on the right to plug in the wire. Leave the container by jumping out of the hatch and connect the wire to the power box outside the ranger station building.

As the garage door lifts up, a horde of zombies will come out. Clear the area of zombies and then enter the ranger station. Go to the door on the left and open it using the Lockpick. The Needle SMG weapon will be on the table in the front.
