How to Level Up the Main Abilities of Characters
To level up a character’s main ability, you need to earn a Skill Point by accumulating XP from using the main ability during matches. It’s important to note that you can’t level up the main ability using a random skill point; it must come from the XP earned specifically by using the main ability. In simple terms, the more you utilize your character’s main ability, the quicker you’ll be able to level it up.

Once you’ve earned sufficient XP by employing the main ability, you’ll be able to choose a Modifier that enhances the main ability’s level. To do this, navigate to the Customization Tab in the menu and select Ability. This will open a dedicated Skill Tree for the main Ability, consisting of 9 different Modifiers divided into 3 paths. The first row of modifiers raises the main ability to Level 1, the second row to Level 2, and the third and final row boosts it to Level 3, which is the maximum level for the main ability.

This Skill Tree operates similarly to the one used for unlocking character Perks. When you select a modifier at any level, it will lock the other modifiers at the same level. By hovering over each modifier, you can see and understand its effects. Choosing and confirming a modifier from the skill tree will enhance the character’s main ability level. If you realize that you’ve applied an unwanted modifier by mistake, you have the option to respec at no cost.
