• Between rounds, you have unlimited time to buy weapons and items from the Duke. In this room, some resources appear and you can also check the objectives and rewards of the area where you are.

   

• Each area has a certain number of enemies. It is not necessary to kill them all to reach the goal and complete it, but it is highly recommended to do so if your goal is to achieve the maximum score.

   

• The game consists of defeating as many enemies as you can before time runs out. Each kill increases the maximum time available by several seconds.

   

• The best way to score points is to chain kills before the combo counter drops to zero, so it is very important to advance at a good pace and not go too long without killing enemies.

   

• Don’t abuse grenades while fighting basic enemies; You won’t find too many and they are very useful against armored enemies.

   

• Do not waste money on medicine, as there is no better defense than a good attack. Instead, buy the shotgun or sniper rifle as soon as you can and try to upgrade any of these weapons; they are very effective in this mode.

   

• You can get extra time by breaking yellow spheres; Sometimes they appear far from your position, but the reward is worth it, as the remaining time is transformed into points at the end of the round.

   

• The great novelty of this renewed Mercenaries mode is the inclusion of skills. They appear in the form of blue spheres and breaking them allows you to choose between three different abilities.

   

• If you are not sure which skills fit your way of playing, it is always advisable to bet on the ones that give you extra speed and bonuses for killing with the weapons you have previously purchased.

   

• In some areas, special elements such as colored birds or a special guest like Angie may appear. They count towards the total number of enemies in each area, so you must be quick and manage to shoot them before leaving the area, you will get extra points.
