Pokémon Legends: Arceus- Unlock secret gift and redeem codes

The Mystery Gift feature is a well-known feature in Pokémon games, allowing you to redeem codes or receive gifts directly from the developers. The secret gift was also integrated into Pokémon Legends: Arceus. However, you do not have access to it from the start. We’ll explain how to get the feature and redeem your codes.

This is how you unlock the secret gift

You need to invest a few hours in the game and play the intro and first missions to get the Mystery Gift feature. More specifically, you need to complete Main Mission 4, “Getting Started with the Pokémon Tasks” . You have to collect 500 research points to become a 1-star member. It should take you about 2 to 3 hours to get this progress.

If you then open the menu (D-Pad above), you will notice that the third menu has been unlocked. This is the communication menu, where you will find the “Secret Gift” option in addition to the Internet settings. Since no message appears that draws your attention to this, you could well pass it by.

Received a secret gift via the Internet

When you click on the Mystery Gift feature, you will have two options to choose from, the first is Receive via the Internet. You can currently get the following gifts:

• Clothing Set (Hisui-Fukano) and the Bane Fox Mask (until May 9, 2022)

Note: You do not need a Nintendo Switch Online membership to use the Mystery Gift feature. However, your profile must be linked to a Nintendo Account!

Secret gift received via serial code/password

The second option in the Mystery Gift menu allows you to redeem your individually received codes or enter passwords that the developers have published for all players. You can currently get the following bonuses:

• 30 Heavyballs: This code will be emailed to you if you purchase the game from Nintendo eShop by May 9th, 2022 .
