Jagged Alliance 3 – How to Complete Dr. Kronenberg’s Quest – Outbreak Walkthrough

News of the virus outbreak has been spread all over the island and players will get to encounter several zombies in different sectors of the Grand Chien as they progress through the game. In terms of contaminating the virus, Dr. Kronenberg is trying to make a cure for Red Rabies (Zombie Virus) but with horrific experiments. Her experiments not only involve animals but humans as well and several humans have been wasted by her. Upon finding Dr. Kronenberg in her lab, players will get to confront her or choose to do her quest to save countless lives.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to complete Dr. Kronenberg’s Quest, Outbreak in Jagged Alliance 3.

Dr. Kronenberg’s Quest – Outbreak Walkthrough

Dr. Kronenberg’s Quest, Outbreak can be completed in two ways and both of the ways will have a substantial effect on the ending of the game. Players can start the Outbreak quest by reaching the Sanatorium at Sector H12. There will be a zombie apocalypse in the area and Sanatorium guards will be fighting with them. Players can either choose to kill all the zombies and the guards to enter the office of Dr. Kronenberg or they go stealthily into her office by the back of the building.

Upon reaching the building, players need to go down to the basement to confront Dr, Kronenberg. It will start the quest and players will get two options by talking to Dr. Kronenberg, they can either kill her or they can help her in making the cure by collecting the virus samples. Now, these choices will have consequences which are the following.

• Killing Dr. Kronenberg will end the quest immediately and the Red Rabies virus will spread out on Grand Chien which will give a Bad Ending to the game.
• Helping Dr. Kronenberg will require players to collect Virus samples from different areas of the map and save countless lives (Good Ending).

How to Cure Red Rabies in Jagged Alliance 3

Accepting help Dr. Kronenberg will task players to collect 4 virus samples out of 6 in 10 days time limit. The Virus samples are spread in different areas of Grand Chien and players will have to go to any 4 of the locations and retrieve the virus samples and come back to Dr. Kronenberg under time limit. If players fail to deliver the virus samples in time, the quest will be failed and the zombie apocalypse starts. The Virus samples can be found in the following areas of the world map.

• The Burial Grounds (J11)
• Wetlands (H16)
• Factory Ruins (K14)
• Grimmer Hamlet (I19)
• The Twin Manors (L18)
• Chalet de la Paix (F13)

If players want to complete the quest as soon as possible then getting the Virus samples from the first four areas is the way to go. The Twin Manors and Chalet de la Paix will require players to do additional side quests which can consume 3 – 4 days. However, they do reward some additional evidence against Dr. Kronenberg which we leave the players to find out. Players must have a high stat merc of Medical, Mechanic, and Explosive Expert to get the Virus samples easily from the areas.

Once players have obtained any 4 Virus samples, they can go back to Sanatorium and give them to Dr. Kronenberg. As Dr. Kronenberg makes the cure, she will turn into a zombie herself that players will have to eliminate. After eliminating Dr. Kronenberg (Zombie), the quest will be completed, and the cure for Red Rabies will be initiated.
