Remnant 2: How to Farm Blood Moon Essence

Blood Moon Essence is a crafting material in Remnant 2 that is used to craft various items, including the Knotted Armor Set, Consumables, and the Faded Grimoire, which is specifically used to unlock the Summoner Archetype. However, getting Blood Moon Essence can be tricky as they are hard to find.

This guide will cover a technique that players can follow to get Blood Moon Essence easily in Remnant 2.

How to Farm Blood Moon Essence in Remnant 2

Blood Moon Essence can only be found in the Yaesha World, and they are dropped from Root Wisps. Root Wisps are the pinkish flying Wisps found in different areas of the Yaesha World, and shooting 1 Wisp will get you 1 Blood Moon Essence. However, there is a catch to it that most players might miss, and that is Root Wisps are found more often when the Blood Moon is active. Blood Moon is a natural occurrence in the game and it only happens in the Yaesha World. It occurs randomly, and players can know when it is more red than usual in the Yaesha World.

One of the best and easiest ways to farm Blood Moon Essence is by going to the Forbidden Grove and taking out the Root Wisps at the start of the route. There will be three Root Wisps during the Blood Moon at the start of the Forbidden Grove Checkpoint in the Yaesha World. Shoot the wisps to get all three Blood Moon Essence and then use the Liquid Escape consumable. It will take players back to the starting checkpoint.

Go to Ward 13 and then hop back to the Forbidden Grove area in the Yaesha World to reset everything. Go again on the path, and the three wisps will spawn again. Take them out to gain 3 more Blood Moon Essences, and then simply rinse and repeat this process to gain the required number of Blood Moon Essences for your need.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
