Bottled nightmares

Players will get to find a lot of useful items as their equipment as well as throwable items that can be used to inflict the foes with various elements. One of the overpowered throwable items is Bottled Nightmares which inflicts the foe with various elements in a single time and makes the foe vulnerable to damage.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get Bottled Nightmares in Octopath Traveler II.

Getting Bottled Nightmares

Bottled Nightmares is one of the throwables that can be used by playable characters. Players will be able to get the Bottled Nightmares from the Night market only as it does not have a drop rate. It does not drop from the chests as well so the only way to get it is through the Night Market.

The Night Market is in the New Delsta Flats area which is in Brightlands region. You will have to go to the New Delsta Flats and make your way down the hill to the benches and barrels. If you have come here in the daytime then you will not see any NPC or Merchant because the Night Market only triggers during the Nighttime. You will have to change the time to spawn the Merchants.

Night Market Location

Merchants will spawn randomly and all of them will sell different items. Some will sell Armor, some will sell weapons, and some will sell throwable items. You will get the Bottled Nightmares from the merchant who is selling the Throwable Items. In order to find the merchant, you will have to interact with every merchant and if you do not find it then you will have to change the time again to the next night. It will spawn new merchants.

Check the Merchants again to find the one you are looking for. Once you have found it, you will be able to buy 1 Bottled Nightmares for 3,000 Leaves. It is more expensive than all the other items because it inflicts all the elements at the same time on the foe which will give you the advantage to deal extra damage to that foe.

Buy Bottled Nightmares

It is super effective against high-level monsters as well as enemies but it is expensive as well so, if you have spare money then you should probably get a few of Bottled Nightmares to pass through the tough enemies without any hassle.
