Octopath Traveler II – How to Get the Ship

The world map of Solistia contains different regions that players will have to discover and explore in order to complete the main story quests of the travelers. There are also hidden areas and towns between the seas that can only be discovered by sailing in the seas. In order to do that, players will have to get their own ship.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get the Ship in Octopath Traveler II.

Getting the Ship in Octopath Traveler II

The players will be able to get the ship through an NPC named “Terry” in a village named “Tropu’hopu” in the Toto’haha region. But before players directly make their way to Terry, they must have Partitio in their Party. Partitio will be able to help you get the Ship from Terry due to his main quest named “Scent of Commerce”.

Once you are at Tropu’hopu village with Partitio in your party, a cutscene will start when you reach the Shipyard. After watching the cutscene, you need to go ahead to the dock and you will meet Terry. Talk to Terry and you will have to use Patritio’s Path Action on Terry to purchase the Ship. The Ship will cost you 100,000 Leaves if you don’t hire Merchant and Sailor NPCs.

These NPCs will let you have a discount on the Ship and you can get up to a total of 50% discount by having both Merchant and Sailor NPCs. After selecting the path, select the payment to purchase the ship and you will be ready for the exploration of the seas.
