Persona 3 Reload: How to Fuse Weapons

Persona 3 Reload - Fuse Weapons

Climbing through various blocks of Tartarus tower will let you often challenge difficult enemies that can be hard to defeat especially, if your party doesn’t hold powerful weapons. New weapons and armor sets can be purchased from the Police Station in Paulownia Mall but there is an alternate and efficient way to get stronger weapons and equipment for your party which is done through fusion.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to fuse weapons in Persona 3 Reload.

How to Fuse Weapons in Persona 3 Reload

Fusing a weapon will require players to fuse certain materials with the weapon they wish to enhance its abilities at the Mayoido Antiques shop located in the Paulownia Mall area. The Mayoido Antiques shop is located on the left side beside Aohige Pharmacy but it will unlock on July 18th. Once July 18 rolls around, players will meet Ikutsuki who will hand over a Black Sword to the players. After getting the Black Sword, Mayoido Antiques will open and players can enhance any acquired weapons using the required materials.

To go through the fusion process for weapons, walk inside the shop and interact with the Mayoido Shopkeeper. Select the ‘Fuse Equipment’ option to view the available Materials that can be used for weapon fusion. Since Ikutsuki gave you a Black Sword, you can use it to fuse a weapon at a cost of gems.

Fusing any weapon or any piece of equipment will cost a certain number of various gems instead of money (¥). The gems are dropped by various enemies at the Tartarus so, as you climb through floors of Tartarus while defeating the enemies, you can farm several gems. Similar to the gems, the needed materials like Black Swords or Nihil Blades can be obtained by unlocking the chests in the Tartarus.
