Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: How to Catch Bonsly

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have hundreds of Pokemons in the game that players can catch as they progress through the game. One of the Rock-Type Pokemon that players can catch early in the game is Bonsly.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to catch Bonsly in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Bonsly

Bonsly is a Rock-Type Pokemon that is very effective in dealing decent damage to enemies in battle. However, it’s a small Pokemon who also dislikes rain so its weakness is Water-Type Pokemon. So, to catch Bonsly, you can use a water-type Pokemon or if you don’t have such Pokemon then you can eat a sandwich to increase the encounter rate against the Rock-Type Pokemon and then battle it to catch Bonsly.

Location of Bonsly

Bonsly is one of the rarely seen Pokemons in the game and the locations where they can be found are near the trees because they like the trees so you might see them out in the wild near the trees. After completing the Prologue of the game, you’ll get the Pokedex app on your Phone which can be used to see the exact location of Bonsly Pokemon.

Location of Bonsly

Bonsly Pokemon can be found in two areas, South Province (Area One) and South Province (Area Two). You can see both of the areas highlighted in the Pokedex app.

Catching Bonsly

Just head in the south direction from Mesagoza to reach one of the areas where Bonsly can be found and you need to look around the trees to find him. Since he is so little, he gets hidden in the grass, and it’s difficult to see him. So, what you want to do is run around the area and when you get close to Bonsly or pass near Bonsly, he will get highlighted on your mini-map.

Catching Bonsly

Once you’ve located Bonsly, interact with him to engage him in a battle. Use the Water Pokemon to faint him easily and then throw the Poke Ball to catch him. If your level is high then you’ll be able to catch him directly with the Poke Ball.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
