Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: How to Level Up Your Pokemon Fast
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is an adventure game with open-world mechanics and players have to explore the Pokemon world to catch different levels of Pokemon so they can have a chance against the High-Level Pokemon in the battles. As players progress through the game and reach new towns and cities, they’ll encounter high-level Pokemon in the wild, as well as main story battles of the game, which also requires them to have high-level Pokemon so players would have to level up their main Pokemon and all the other selected Pokemon.

Level Up Mechanics
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have level-up mechanics of Pokemon which can be done by getting enough EXP to reach another level. There are several methods that players can try to get EXP and increase the level of their Pokemon. First, we’ll tell you all the things that you can do to get EXP, and then we’ll tell you the fastest way to Level Up your Pokemon. The tasks that players can do to get EXP are the following.
- Battle High-Level Pokemon
- Players can get a decent amount of EXP by battling the High-Level Pokemon in the Wild. You can find different levels of Pokemon when you are exploring the world. Just interact with them to go into the Auto Battle mode and you’ll start the fight. Battle out with them to get EXP for all of your Pokemon.
- Battle in Tera Raid Battles
- Tera Raid Battles are different than the normal Battles as you would Battle a mysterious Pokemon with your squad. You’ll get normal EXP points for battling the Pokemon but you’ll get a lot of EXP Candies by winning the battles. If you accumulate enough EXP Candies, you’ll be able to level up your Pokemon faster.
- Eat Sandwiches
- You can also eat sandwiches to get EXP but you’ll only be able to get the EXP if you eat the sandwiches that have EXP and Encounter buffs. You can have several Sandwich Recipes from the sandwich shop in Mesagoza and then start a picnic to make sandwiches.
- Catch Pokemon
- You will also get EXP by catching Pokemon so if you are exploring the world, you can catch Pokemon by throwing the Poke Ball at them. You’ll get a certain amount of EXP.
- Battle Pokemon Trainers
- Pokemon Trainers also give a certain amount of EXP along with other materials and money. It is also a good way to level up.
Level Up Faster
Players can do all of the tasks discussed above to get EXP and level up their Pokemon but there is also a faster way to level up all of your Pokemon in the game. If you like battling in the game then you can earn a very large amount of EXP in a very short time. The Thing that you need to do is to Hunt a Specific Pokemon and fight them to earn EXP.
The Pokemon that you need to Hunt is Chansey and Blissey. Blissey is an evolved form of Chansey so you’ll find that Pokemon in the same spawn area as Chansey. These Pokemon spawn in the North Province (Area Three) and you can easily find them in the greenery area near the snow. You’ll find a number of Chansey in the area and you can use your top Pokemon to battle the Chansey.
You can also increase fighting power and ground raid by eating the Ham Sandwich which will spawn more Chansey and let you easily defeat them. You can also get bonus EXP if your Pokemon is holding the Lucky Egg. Ham Sandwich buffs will stay for 30 minutes and you’ll be able to level up your Pokemon easily. You also might run into Blissey which will give you more EXP for defeating him in the battle.
Chansey is a bit shy so they’ll start to run when you get close to them so to start the battle, you can just throw out your Pokemon when you see the name Chansey on the screen. It will engage them in the Battle and you’ll be to defeat them and get EXP. This is one of the fastest ways to level up all of your Pokemon and get their level high enough to battle any Pokemon.
After getting the Church Key, players will have to make their way back to the Church. They will get encountered by a Giant on the way and players will have to defeat the giant in order to make their way to the Church. Once they have reached the church, they will be able to open the Church main gate with the Church Key. After getting into the church, they will have to find Ashley but in order to do that, they will have to solve a Puzzle of lighting inside the Church.

Get the Blue Dial
When you go ahead in the Church, you will find a lever on the left side which will reveal two different dials, Green and Red. The Blue Dial will be missing and you will have to find the Blue Dial in order to start solving the light puzzle in the Church.
There will be a small pathway on the right side inside the church and at the end of the path, there will be a cupboard. Open the Cupboard to get the Blue Dial. Once you have the Blue Dial, go back to the Dial Console and place the Blue Dial on it.
Solving the Church Light Puzzle
You will have to rotate all of the three dials one by one in order to place them at the spot where the Yellow Symbols and the gaps of Red, Blue, and Green also combine to make the complete cult symbol. In order to do that, you need to move the Blue Dial in a way that the blue spots fits perfectly at the bottom left of the Cult Symbol.
Once it is placed right, switch to the Green Dial. Now, rotate the dial in a way that the green spots fits perfectly at the top left side as well as the top right side of the cult symbol. Now, switch to the Red Dial and move the red spots in a way that the bottom right side of the cult symbol fits perfectly with the spots. Once you have found the accurate spots, it will automatically light up and the door on the left side will open.
Once you have opened the door, you need to go up from the ladder on the left side to reach the door to find Ashley.
The Giant is one of the main bosses in the game that players will have to defeat in order to progress in the main story of the game. The Giant boss fight will be encountered when players are returning back to the Church with the Church Key. Once you have reached the Quarry area just outside the Merchant’s Hideout, you will get to defeat the Giant.

Defeating the Giant
The Giant has a rushing attack where he will rush towards you. You need to dodge it by running away from him or you can also evade it by timing it perfectly. Otherwise, the attack will deal a lot of damage to you. The Giant also has a grab attack where he will grab you and you will have to struck him with the Knife in order to get out of his hand.
Now, in order to defeat the Giant, you will have to deal enough damage to the Giant that the Parasite comes out of his back. You can easily deal enough damage to him with the fully upgraded Shotgun or the Submachine Gun. If you have the weapons, shoot at it to deal damage and once his parasite is out from his back. You need to shoot at the parasite.
It will drop down the giant to the ground and you need to run towards him to knife the Parasite. The giant will stand up again but this time a wolf will also come to help. The wolf is from the previous chapter which you freed from a trap outside the Chief’s Manor. The wolf will bite the Giant and you need to deal more damage to the parasite until he drops down again.
Once he is down again, rush towards him and knife the parasite. You will have to shoot him a few more times until he drops down for good. The fight is not that difficult but you can easily get hit by the giant’s attack if you are not focusing on him. You need to get behind him to attack the parasite and it will deal more damage than shooting the giant itself.
Once you have defeated him, you will be able to get back to the Church without any more trouble.

Red9 Handgun Location
Red9 Handgun can only be found during the Fourth Chapter of the game. The location of the Red9 Handgun is in the very middle of the lake. There will be a wrecked Ship in the middle of the lake and the Red9 Handgun can be found in the chest on the front of the Wrecked Ship.
Getting the Red9 Handgun
Once you have got access to the boat in the Fourth Chapter. Make your way to the Wrecked Ship in the middle of the Lake and dock at the ship. Go up on the ship and go to the front of the ship. You will find a chest. Interact with it to open the chest and you will get the Red9 Handgun from the Chest.
However, if you missed it in the Fourth Chapter of the game, you will not be able to get it again from this location for free. But you can still get it from the Merchant. The Merchant will sell you the Red9 Handgun for 9,800 Ptas in the Fifth Chapter near Town Hall. This price is a discounted price and if you still don’t buy it, the Merchant will sell you the Red9 for the full price of 14,000 Ptas in the later chapters.
Players can also get the Wooden Stock for the Red9 Handgun to control the recoil of the gun. The wooden stock for Red9 Handgun can only be traded with 9x Spinels. So, if you have completed any requests of the Merchant, make sure to trade them for the stock if you are using the Red9 Handgun.
