Raft: The Final Chapter: How to Defeat Alpha Hyena Boss

Raft’s new chapter includes new locations to be discovered and the players will get to Utopia after clearing Temperance Island. Utopia is the last location of Chapter 3. Utopia is a city and players will need to explore this location to get to the end of the story of the game. After getting out of the encounter with Olof, you’ll reach a big arena in which you have to defeat the Alpha Hyena Boss.

Defeating Alpha Hyena

When you jump down into the arena, Olof will release Alpha Hyena on you. Defeating Alpha Hyena is simple but it requires some movement and dodging in order to beat the Alpha Hyena. There is nothing in the arena that you have to break to defeat the Hyena. You need to hit the Hyena with a melee weapon in order to defeat him. But hitting the Hyena would be difficult because he will charge towards you with aggression and also where ever he steps, he creates a circle of poison that will deal damage to you if you step into it so, it means you cannot go into the spot of the arena where Hyena was a few moments ago. When the poison spots are gone then you can step on that spot.

The other thing that this boss does is that it will eat something thrown by Olof and start throwing rocks at your position and the rock will also create poison spots in the arena while thrown towards you. You have to dodge the rock as well as the poison spots. The Hyena will also jump attack you and will grab you with its mouth. Then a few seconds later, it will let you go but it does a lot of damage by grabbing. You can attack the Hyena with the Machete as it is the only melee weapon that is the strongest and has the most damage. Hit the Hyena and immediately jump back so it can attack you back. If you try to hit it with two or three melee attacks, the hyena will attack you back and deal much damage to you so, it is better to play safe and whenever it begins to eat then you can land a couple of hits with the Machete.

The stone arrows will not work on this boss as the arrows will bounce off the skin of the Hyena. You can hit it with the Metal arrows, they will deal some damage to it when you are at a distance from it. Try to move around the arena and the poison spots with the jumping so, the hyena can’t grab you. Attack the hyena and jump back and immediately land a metal arrow on it to deal maximum damage at one time. You need to keep repeating this technique and dodge the rock attacks, you’ll be able to defeat the hyena in no time.
