Redfall: How to Fast Travel

Redfall has a Fast-Travel mechanic in the game which is very useful to get around the world map very quickly. As you can explore the world map to your limit and find exquisite loot for the journey, you would also want to get out of the areas before you get yourself in trouble. In order to do that, you can use the Fast Travel mechanic to quickly get to a safe place to save your progress.

How to Fast Travel in Redfall

The Fast-Traveling mechanic in Redfall allows you to fast travel to the discovered areas around the map. These areas can either be Safehouses or Historic Landmarks. Now, fast traveling will not be available from the beginning of the game as you will have to unlock it. By completing the first mission “Dead in the Water” of the game, you will unlock your first safehouse “Fire Station”. As you explore more of the world map, you will find several Safehouses which will require you to clear the area around the safehouse.

Once you have cleared the area around the safe house, it will be marked on your map. You will be able to see all of the marked locations on your map and in order to fast travel to the location, you just need to hold down the designated button which is X on PlayStation and A on XBOX. The Historic Landmarks are easy to mark as it only requires you to interact with the landmark location. When you reach a historic landmark, you just need to interact with the plate that tells a detail about the landscape and it will be marked on your map.
