Scorn: All Door-Opening Tool Upgrades in Act 4

At the end of the second Act, players will find a tool that’ll be used to open the doors that have a number of lights on the lock. As you progress in the game, you’ll find upgrades of the tool to get additional lights so, you can unlock the doors that have more lights. Players will begin with 1 light on the tool and in the third Act, players will find 2 upgrades to this tool. In the fourth act, players can find 1 upgrade of the tool which marks four lights in total on the tool.

In this guide, we’ll tell you where you can find the upgrades in the fourth act of Scorn.

Upgrade Location

The location of the Door-Opening Tool in Act 4 is inside the beast. To get inside the beast, you need to use the console at the start and a bridge made of bones will take you inside the beast. Then you need to follow the path inside the beast until you reach an area with multiple paths. Go left from here and you’ll find another console that will furtherly make a way inside the beast. Now, go back a bit and go down the path in front. You’ll come to the location of the maze puzzle but you need to go to the room behind it. You need to take a right from the room ahead in which you’ll find the shotgun.

Go along the path and kill the creature and go up from the lift. Go right from there and you’ll reach a door with four lights on the lock which means you need to have an upgrade for this door to open. Go to the right side of this door and go up from the ramp. You’ll find the upgrade station at the end of the ramp. Interact with the upgrade station to get the fourth light on the tool. Now, you can open all the doors that have up to four lights on their locks.
