As players make their way to the end of Chapter 2 of Sherlock Holmes, they will find a Dead Man on an Altar. At the end of the chapter, they will get to solve the “Who is the Dead Man on the Altar” Puzzle in order to complete the chapter.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to solve the ‘Who is the dead man on the altar?’ puzzle in Sherlock Holmes The Awakened.

Who is the Dead Man on the Altar – Puzzle Solution

In order to solve the “Who is the Dead Man on the Altar?” puzzle, you will have to gather the following pieces of evidence.

  • Unknown Man on the Altar
  • Passport
  • Advertisement Flyer

All of the required evidence can be gathered from the hidden passage beneath Warehouse 12 near Dockyard. Once you have gained access to the Warehouse, you will have to open the hidden passage and go inside it. As you go beneath the Warehouse, you will enter into an illusion. There will be three phases of the illusion that you will have to successfully pass through in order to reach the Altar area. Once you have gained control of Sherlock again, go to the body on the Altar and examine it to get the “Unknown Man on the Altar” evidence. After that, go to the right side towards a couple of tables and search the tables to get the “Passport” and “Advertisement Flyer” evidence. Once you have obtained all of the evidence, you will have to reconstruct the past using the imagination and after that, you will get to solve the puzzle.

Once you are back in your apartment, go to the Mind Palace in the main menu and select the “Who is the dead man on the altar?” puzzle. Select the following evidence and interlink them with the black circles to solve the puzzle.
