Starfield: Reset Vendors' Credits and Stock

Buying and Selling Items is one of the crucial aspects of Starfield that almost all players will find themselves doing. Whether it is a higher rarity gear/weapon that you want to upgrade to or you want to sell all of the loot that you gathered to make money, visiting vendors from time to time is essential in Starfield. However, each vendor has a certain stock that you can buy and certain credits from which it will buy items from you. If you sell all of your loot, there is a high chance that the vendor will run out of credits and you have to sell the items for a low price or to a different vendor.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to Reset Vendors’ Credits and Stock in Starfield.

How to Reset Vendors’ Credits and Stock in Starfield

To reset the vendors’ Credits and Stock in Starfield, you will have to wait for 24 Local hours. Every vendor will restock its shop and credits after every 24 Local Hours. Now, for those who don’t know time runs differently on every planet in Starfield. You will visit the planets that have more than 40 hours of a day in total and because the time ticks slowly, it will take you a lot of time to just stand and wait for 24 local hours to pass.

However, you can pass the time quickly by waiting on a chair. To do that, find any chair or sitting sofa near the vendor’s shop or place and interact with it to sit down on the chair. After sitting down on the chair, press the B Button and set the wait time by adjusting the time bar. Set the wait time for 24 local hours and then press the B Button to again to pass the time.

It will take about a minute for the whole 24 local hours to pass and once it is done, go back to the vendor and browse its shop to see its restored Credits and Stock. If you want to sell all of your looted gear to one vendor then you probably would have to do this method a couple of times before you sell all of your loot for a decent price.
