Tears of the Kingdom: How to Get Royal Guard’s Claymore Early

Melee Weapons play a very crucial role in surviving the battles with the enemies and bosses in the Hyrule World. As you progress in the game, the enemies will get tougher and you will be needing strong weapons to take out the enemies quickly. One of the best weapons that you can get early that deal 32 Damage on one hit is Royal Guard’s Claymore. It is one of the strongest weapons in the game as you will be able to fuse it with other high-level fuse items to increase its damage further.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get Royal Guard’s Claymore early in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Get Royal Guard’s Claymore Early in Tears of the Kingdom

You can find the Royal Guard’s Claymore inside Castle Hyrule. You need to make your way to the Sanctum of Hyrule Castle and you will be able to find it in the Sanctum. Castle Hyrule is directly north of the Lookout Landing area where you will go in the first quest after reaching the surface. Make sure that you have unlocked the Paraglider and the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower before you go to the Sanctum because it will make it much easier for you to get the weapon. You can follow the following rules to get Royal Guard’s Claymore in Tears of the Kingdom.

  • Use the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower to blast off into the sky.
  • Use the Glider to go in the North Direction towards the flying Hyrule Castle.
  • You need to land on the area in front of the Sanctum so, make sure to use your stamina carefully.
  • Once there, go inside the Sanctum and go up the staircase from the left side.
  • Go further up the stairs on the left and you will come up on a broken statue on your right side.
  • Go behind the statue and you will find the Royal Guard’s Claymore just sitting on the floor.
