The Gladius Legendary Shortsword can be found in a cave at Mount Balaur, west of the Boar’s Back area. If you have just started the free roam, you will already be coming down from Laslea Glen (starting area). While you are heading south, it is best to make Mount Balaur one of your stopping points to get a legendary sword.
