The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure – How to Use S-Break in Combat

The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure has various combat mechanics that players will have to learn in order to become victorious in the battles. Battles can be difficult with more enemies but each of the characters has special attacks that can be used to change the outcome of the battles. One of the useful attacks of each character is S-Break and it can be used in combat.

Using S-Break While in Combat

S-Break is a special attack that each character can unleash on the selected enemy in the battle. However, you cannot use the S-Break in every combat encounter with the enemies because the S-Break requires a certain amount of CP. CP is the Craft Points which are used to unleash the S-Break attack in combat. Once players have over 100 CP, they will be able to unleash S-Craft at any time regardless of turn order. Meaning, you will not have to follow the AT Bar order to perform the S-Break.

Now, to use the S-Break, you will have to press the Triangle Button and then give the selecting the character by pressing the button on the D-Pad. If a character has over 100 CP then the character will have a Red Diamond icon. Press the corresponding button to use the S-Break of that character.

However, if a player has an icon of a broken red Diamond, then you cannot use their S-Break. You will have to use the normal attack until the diamond icon appears and then press the particular button to unleash the attack. Unleashing S-Break on an enemy can deal thousands of damage and can even take down an enemy in a single attack. It is extremely useful against the enemies with more HP.
