V Rising: How to beat Lidia the Chaos Archer
You’d get to fight a lot of different enemies and bosses while progressing through the game. The bosses in this game will give you abilities, recipes, structures, etc. As you level up the bosses will become harder and they’ll also drop a high tier ability.
In this guide, we tell you how to find and defeat the Lidia the Chaos Archer boss.
How to Defeat Lidia the Chaos Archer
Lidia the Chaos Archer is a level 26 boss in the Blood Altar. She is one of the starting bosses of the game and she can be defeated easily, you just have to look out for some of her moves and counter them with the right timing.
The bosses in Blood Altar do not have an exact location so, that’s why you have to track the blood of the bosses in order to get to their location. They can be pretty much anywhere on the map. Open the Blood Altar menu and track Blood of the Lidia and there’ll be a red trail in the air that will lead you to her location.
She has three different attacks that you need to look out for, the first is the Chaos Orb AoE attack in which she would put down a lot of chaos fire onto the ground when you step on it, you’ll get fire damage. While she raises her hand and starts to do the Chaos Orb AoE attack, you can swing to the side of the area where the orbs will land and you can hit her with the long-ranged attack as well as a couple of hits of swords. But after attacking, you quickly want to move back.
The other attack of her is the Chaos Arrow Volley in which she kneels down and attacks the player with arrows rapidly in a straight line. You can dodge it but cannot counterattack it but if you are in a party with another player then, one person can attack her from behind while she is launching arrows on one player.
She also has a passive that’ll make her go invisible. You can kind of see her move around while she is invisible but it is difficult to keep a track of her. If you see her while she is invisible, you can deal damage to her. That was all of her moves and you just have to do the longed range attack when you get the chance and get a couple of hits with the melee weapon and just back off. That’s all you need to do in this fight, keep on repeating it until she is dead and then extract her V blood to get the new ability and structure.
Rewards
After extracting her V blood, you’ll get the following rewards:
- Chaos Volley: It launches two Chaos Bolts in a sequence that deals 125% magic damage and inflicts Chaos Burn. Chaos Burn will deal damage to the target over time.
- The Devourer: The devourer structure can be used to tear apart the items, it means if you give that machine any item you have in inventory, it will give you the crafting materials that are used to create that particular item.
