Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: How to Get Fuse Ability

Fuse Ability is one of the new abilities in Tears of the Kingdom that players can get in the starting hours of the game. Fuse Ability will allow Link to Fuse his Weapons with a number of Materials and Objects that can be found throughout the world of Hyrule to add certain effects on weapons. This Ability is tied to the main quest of the game so all players will eventually get it as they progress through the game.

How to Get Fuse Ability in Tears of the Kingdom

The Fuse Ability will be unlocked as players step inside the In-Isa Shrine. The In-Isa Shrine is one of the required shrines to be visited in the early game to open the Gate of the Temple of Time. Players will be able to get to In-Isa Shrine after they have completed the Ukouh Shrine Puzzle. In-Isa Shrine is the second shrine that you visit and as you go inside the Shrine, you will meet with the spirit named “Rauru”.

Rauru will grant you with the Fuse Ability and you will be able to use the Fuse Ability on your weapons to add special effects on them. Fuse Ability is also required to solve the In-Isa Shrine Puzzle. To use the Fuse Ability, you will have to equip it by opening the ability wheel. Press the L Button and then move to Fuse Ability and then press the R Button to equip the Fuse Ability.

In order to fuse a weapon with an object or material, you will have to select the weapon you want to fuse and then press the L Button to equip the Fuse Ability, and then select the Object and press the Y Button to Fuse Weapon with the Object. If you want to fuse it with a material, select the weapon and then open inventory and select the material. You can fuse material with your Bow and Shield to add special effects to them.
