V Rising: How to Get Fish Oil

In V Rising, there are many resources that are needed to craft other useful items for the player. All the reagent resources are used to craft something in the game that is useful for later in the game. In this guide, we tell you how to get Fish Oil in V Rising which is useful in the late game to make different items.

How to Get Fish Oil

There are two ways that you can get the Fish Oil in V Rising. The Fish Oil can be gathered by defeating the enemies in the Dunley Farmlands region of the map. You can also find it in the chests of different militia encampments in that region. If you don’t want much quantity of the Fish Oil then you can just kill the enemies and get Fish Oil from that region but if you want to farm the fish oil then you can also craft it.

For crafting, you need to make yourself a Fishing Rod that will help you catch fish from the ponds around the map. You can craft Fishing Rod from the Woodworking Bench at your base if you have unlocked the recipe for it. If you don’t have the recipe for the Fishing Rod then you need to defeat Rufus the Foreman. He is a level 20 boss and one of the starting bosses of the game.

After beating this boss, you can craft the Fishing Rod on the Woodworking Bench at the cost of 8 Plank, 4 Copper Ingots, and 4 Coarse Threads. After crafting it, go to the blue areas of the map and you can fish there. Catch as much as you can and come back to your base. Now to make the Fish Oil, you need to put the Fish in the Devourer station at your base which you get from defeating Lidia the Chaos Archer (Level 26).

Put the fish in the devourer and you’ll get the Fish Oil as well as the Fish Bones. You can easily farm Fish Oil with this method and you won’t run out of Fish Oil. The main reason to get the Fish Oil is to craft the Pristine Leather so, you can make new gear for your character or servants.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
