Remnant 2 – How to Unlock Dual Archetypes

There are 10 different Archetypes available in Remnant 2 from which 4 of them are the starting Archetypes and 6 of them are unique Archetypes that players have to unlock manually. However, selecting the starting Archetype will allow players to have abilities and passive bonuses of 1 archetype which can be later changed in the game. Remnant 2 not only allows players to have traits and abilities of 1 archetype but 2 archetypes and players can achieve it by unlocking Dual Archetypes.

How to Unlock Dual Archetypes in Remnant 2

Getting access to 2 Archetypes is not compulsory in the game but it is helpful especially in the higher-level areas and against the bosses. To unlock a secondary archetype to get their respective traits and passive bonuses, players must first progress in the game to reach Power Level 10 on their Primary Archetype. Power Level is increased by spending Trait Points and to reach Power Level 10, players will have to get 10 Trait Points in total and spend on their primary archetype. Players can get Trait Points by the following methods.

• Defeating bosses
• Discovering Tomes of Knowledge
• Finding them out in the Open World

Once the players have reached Power Level 10 on their primary archetype, the dual archetype system will be unlocked which will allow players to choose a secondary archetype. However, it requires a specific engram of the archetype that players want to equip and the only way to get the engram is to craft it with specific materials. All of the starting Archetypes’ engrams crafting recipe is shown in the table down below.

After getting the required material for the specific archetype that players want to unlock, they will also be needing 10x Lumenite Crystal and 1,000 Scraps. They need to go to Wallace, the same guy that gives the primary archetype. Go and interact with Wallace and players will see the respective engram of the Archetype of the equivalent material in the Craft Tab. Craft the engram and players will be able to place the engram in the Archetypes Tab in the main menu.

Keep in mind that the Power Level of the secondary archetype will start from 1 and players will have to spend Trait Points separately to that Archetype to increase its Power Level.
