Diablo IV New Patch 1.1.3 Dropping Tomorrow on All Platforms
Diablo IV Devs are constantly trying to improve the game experience for players and their latest patch is coming out tomorrow August 29, 2023. The patch notes were released on August 26, 2023, based on the feedback of the players.
The main gameplay changes that have been done in the latest patch are regarding the Crowd Control abilities of Monsters and Elite Affixes. In the previous patches, players got to face various crowd-control elemental abilities from the enemies for a longer period of time. Fortunately, these effects have been lowered and allow players to overcome the status effects more frequently and get back in the action right away.
Ghost Archers and Snake Brutes will not cause the Cold Enchantment as often when they hit you. The Chilling Wind will create fewer overlapping walls. It will be easier to avoid getting stunned by the Cannibal Gorger. The time you have to wait before the Cold Goatman Ice Pillars can be used again has increased. The Cold Spider’s attack won’t make you feel as cold as before, and the Nangari Snake Eyes won’t stun you for as long as it used to – now only 1.25 seconds instead of 1.5 seconds.
When Fire Enchanted monsters explode upon death, they will have one less damaging wave, and the damage it does will be 20% lower. The Bloated Corpsefiend’s charge attack won’t hurt you as much – it’s been made 14% weaker.
The Seasonal and My Class filters in the Codex of Power menu now remember the setting previously selected by the player. Navigating the Glyph Upgrade menu on the controller will now feel more natural. Achievements, Trophies, and Challenges with shared unlock criteria across platforms now transfer via cross-platform progression.
Other than that, several bugs have been fixed that you can read about on the official blog of Blizzard.
