Diablo GM Confirms Blood Knight is Not Coming to Diablo 4

The upcoming Season of Blood in Diablo 4 will feature a theme of vampires and blood-hungry creatures. This has led some players to believe that the Blood Knight class from Diablo Immortal might be making its way to Diablo 4. However, Diablo GM Rod Fergusson has confirmed that this is not the case.

In an interview with 4Players, Fergusson said that Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal are “two very different games with two very different teams and two different technologies.” He also said that the Blood Knight’s appearance in Diablo Immortal was “more of a coincidence.”

“So, no, the Blood Knight will not appear in Diablo 4,” Fergusson said.

While players will not be able to play as the Blood Knight in Diablo 4, they will still be able to experience the vampire-themed content of the Season of Blood. This includes new quests, challenges, and items. Players will also be able to team up with a new companion, Erys, who is a vampire hunter.

The Season of Blood will launch on October 17, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
