Workstations are key to crafting the essential items for you to survive in the harsh world of Windrose. Whether it is regular cooking, bandages, weapons, tools, or ship materials, you will have to use various workstations at your base. Moreover, all the essential workstations have upgrade levels, allowing you to craft advanced items that are not possible on the initial level. In this guide, we will tell you how to upgrade all the Workstations in Windrose.
How to Upgrade All Workstations in Windrose
Upgrading the workstations process might be confusing at first, as there is no upgrade button that you can click on to level up the workstation. To upgrade any workstation in Windrose, you have to add its corresponding Add-ons in the vicinity of the Bonfire. The Add-ons for the workstations serve as upgrades and increase the workstations’ level. The Add-ons have a similar icon to their corresponding workstations, but in Green (color) in the Building Panel.
For instance, if you are trying to upgrade the Workbench, you have to place its corresponding Add-ons, including Sawhorse, Toolbox, and Tool Shelf. Each add-on will level up the workbench by 1. Sawhorse is one of the early Add-ons in the game, which you unlock by smelting your first Copper Ingot in the Furnace. Similarly, you will unlock the recipes for all add-ons by gathering specific resources. Mainly, you will have to progress through the main story and explore the new biomes thoroughly for every resource. Once you have the recipe for add-ons, craft them through the Building Panel (B) and place them anywhere in the vicinity of the Bonfire. However, make sure that the original workstation is also in the range.
