Potions and Elixirs are some of the many consumable items in Windrose. These are essential for instant replenishing your health and temporary additional buffs. Similar to the food items, you can craft various potions at the Alchemy Table that can help you in your journey and survive. Like most of the resources you gather, collecting resources unlocks corresponding potion recipes for you to craft at the alchemy station. The better resources you collect, the better recipes you can craft for the journey. In this guide, we will tell you all the potion recipes available in Windrose Early Access.

How to Craft Potions in Windrose

You can craft potions at the “Alchemy Table” station in Windrose. It is the main alchemy station that you can place down through the Building Panel (B) using 5x Wood and 2x Clay Pot. All the potion recipes that you get to learn by picking up resources like clay, flowers, animal parts, etc., will be added to the Alchemy Table station. You can interact with the Alchemy Table station to view all the recipes and select the one you wish to craft. Of course, you must have all the necessary ingredients available at your disposal, either in inventory or in the storage chests, to craft the potion. To start making potions, you have to first craft Clay Bottles and then Alchemical Base. After that, you can use them as the ingredients for proper potions.

Initially, the Alchemy Table will be Level 1, meaning you will only be able to craft “Uncommon” potions. To craft a better rarity potion, you will have to upgrade the Alchemy Table to Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4. The Level 2 and 3 Alchemy Table station allows you to craft “Rare” potions, and the Level 4 allows you to craft “Epic” potions.

Every potion has a different effect. Some are just for healing, while others have special effects that can temporarily enhance certain characteristics. If you are following a specific build for your character, consuming a potion for the corresponding increase in stats helps greatly.
