One of the new flowers that grows in low quantities is the Golden Fern. It was added recently with the new Royal Highlands expansion update. In this guide, we will tell you where to find the Golden Fern in Palia.
Where to Find Golden Fern in Palia

Golden Fern is a rare flower found growing on the ground patches in various areas of the Royal Highlands map zone. It does not grow at any specific time, so you can forage it at any time of the day. Look for the bright golden yellow flowers on the ground. Interact with it to forage it. Since it is a rare flower, it grows in lower quantities than other plants and gatherables in the area. Here are all the main areas where you can find Golden Fern.
- Standing Cliffs
- Lonely Glen
- Amber Lake
- Royal Hunting Grounds
- Old Fortuna
- Steps of Renova
Moreover, similar to all other materials and gatherables in Royal Highlands, you might come across some Amber-touched Golden Fern. These Golden Fern flowers will be inside the Amber crystal. You cannot forage it regularly by interaction; instead, you have to break the crystal using the Pick tool or shoot it with arrows. After breaking the Amber crystal, you can pick it up.

Gathering the Amber-touched Golden Fern will also grant you Amber Echo. It is a new currency that you mainly use at the Amber Echo Store to purchase various items, including the new Jadium Storage recipe.
Uses of Golden Fern in Palia
The Golden Fern is one of the optional objectives during the “Somewhere That’s Green” quest. The main use of the Golden Fern is to place it in your Plot area for decoration purposes. It is also a material for crafting Halward’s Blessing IV Relic. Moreover, you can sell the Golden Fern for 60 Gold (Basic) and 90 Gold (Star-Quality) to Zeki or at the Shipping Bin. Last but not least, you can also gift it to certain villagers who like it or to those who need it. The needs of villagers change every week, so keep your eyes on them.
