Palia: How to Get Sunstone

Sunstone is one of the rarest Starstones that has been recently added with the latest patch of Palia. It is one of the mineral gems that you can get through mining the mine deposits scattered throughout the Palian World. As there are several types of mine deposits through which you can get certain types of resources, one of the mine deposit types has a chance to drop Sunstone while mining. In this guide, we will tell you how to get Sunstone in Palia.

How to Get Sunstone in Palia

Sunstone is an Epic Starstone that can be found throughout the Royal Highlands by mining any size of Jadium Nodes. Jadium Ore is a common mineral that you can find only in the Royal Highlands zone in Palia. Similar to other ores, the Jadium Ores are mined from their respective nodes. The Jadium Nodes only spawn in the new Royal Highlands map zone. However, to mine the Jadium Ores, you must get the Fine Pickaxe or a higher-level pick. There is no certain location for the Jadium Nodes as they are pretty much spread out in Royal Highlands. You can find the Jadium Nodes in the following areas.

• Amber Lake
• Embra’s Folly
• Fortuna Falls
• Lonely Glen
• Mudan’s Wall
• Old Fortuna
• Steps of Renova
• Royal Hunting Grounds
• The Standing Cliffs

Mining Jadium Nodes can drop 1 – 9 Jadium Ores depending on the size of the Jadium Nodes. However, the larger size Jadium Nodes will require an Exquisite Pick to mine them. Upon mining a Jadium node, it will have a chance of dropping the following items.

• 1 – 9 Jadium Ore
• 1 – 5 Stone
• 1 – 9 Amber Echo
• 0 – 1 Extremely Aged Cheese
• 0 – 1 Sunstone or Star-Quality Sunstone

The Standing Cliffs and the Amber Lake are the two areas with a high number of Jadium Nodes. You can easily farm a bunch of Jadium Ores from these areas. If you are lucky, you might get a Sunstone or even a Star-Quality Sunstone.

Moreover, there is a chance that you might find some Jadium nodes inside Amber. If so, you must first break the Amber and then mine the node. However, if you do not have the Echo Tracker, you will not get the Amber Echo from the node. Echo Tracker is a special relic that Eshelon gives during the “A Stitch in Time” quest.

Use of Sunstone in Palia

Sunstone is an Epic rarity Starstone, and its main use is that you can use it as a decorative piece. Moreover, it is the perfect gift for any villager. Every villager loves the Sunstone, and it grants a massive friendship boost. However, each villager can only receive one Sunstone per week. If you happen to find a Sunstone, you can gift it to any of the characters who like it once per week. Furthermore, you can sell the Sunstone for 900 Gold (Base) or 1,350 Gold (Star-Quality) to Zeki or at the shipping bin.
