How to Get Mew in Pokémon Pokopia

Unlocking Mew in Pokémon Pokopia will require you to solve the Mysterious Slate Wall puzzle. You need to find 27 mysterious slates by digging the sparkling spots across the island and its biomes. Each mysterious slate will have a matching symbol on it as part of the slate wall. You need to place the mysterious slates on the slate wall to complete the mural. Once done, you will get to inspect the mural, revealing Mew.

Where is the Mysterious Slate Wall in Pokémon Pokopia

The Mysterious Slate Wall is located in an underpass behind some cracked blocks in the very first biome, Withered Wasteland. To get to the Slate Wall, follow the following steps.

• Head right of the Withered Wasteland Pokémon Center, towards the Horsea Fountain.
• Break the back wall using the Rock Smash ability to find an underpass.
• Go through the underpass until you come across cracked blocks on the left.
• Break the cracked blocks using the Rock Smash to reveal the Mysterious Slate Wall.

Where to Find the Mysterious Slates in Pokémon Pokopia

The Mysterious Slates are the pieces for the Mysterious Slate Wall that you need to place and complete the mural. There are 27 mysterious slates in total, scattered throughout the island. You must search for the sparkling blocks in every biome to have a chance of finding these slates. Bring a Pokémon with Search Specialty to locate these blocks easily, and then use the Rock Smash ability to dig what they offer.

You won’t be able to find all of the mysterious slates until the very end of the game. Progress through the main story to access all of the biomes to have a better chance of finding the slates.

How to Solve the Mysterious Slate Wall Puzzle

Solving the mysterious slate wall puzzle is easier than it looks. The wall has 27 different symbols on it, which correlate to the mysterious slates. Before placing a mysterious slate, examine it and turn around to see the symbol on it, and then place it onto the matching symbol on the wall.

After placing all 27 mysterious slates on the wall, you can inspect the mural to reveal Mew. Speak with Mew and he will become your friend, adding them to the Pokedex.
