Pokémon Go: Skarmory Super Mega Raid Goes Live Today

A new raid day is going live today in Pokémon Go. It is the Skarmory Super Mega Raid Day, where players will be able to acquire Skarmory upon completing the raid. The Super Mega Raid features various powerful Pokémon throughout the raid. Players will also have a chance of finding the Shiny Skarmory during their encounter with Mega Skarmory. However, it is a limited-time raid and is available for three hours today, June 27, 2026.

Skarmory Super Mega Raid Event Time

The Skarmory Super Mega Raid goes live for three hours, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time, in every region on June 27. During this time, the Mega Skarmory raid will become available in Super Mega Raid Battles in all areas. Players can join the Super Mega Raid Battles to complete and capture the Mega Skarmory or the Shiny Skarmory if they are lucky. However, there is only a 1 out of 10 chance to encounter the Shiny version of Mega Skarmory during the event.

Event Bonuses

As the event goes live, players will receive the following bonuses.

• Remote Raid Pass limit increases to 20 from June 26, at 5:00 p.m. to June 27, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. PDT.
• Receive up to 6 free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
• Increased chance of encountering Shiny Skarmory in Super Mega Raids.

Premium Event Ticket

Players can also purchase a premium event ticket to receive the following bonuses.

• Receive up to 14 Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
• Higher chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
• Additional 5,000 XP and 5,000 Stardust from Super Mega Raid Battles.

How to Prepare for Skarmory Super Mega Raid in Pokémon Go

Mega Skarmory is a Steel- and Flying-type Pokémon, which makes it vulnerable to Electric- and Fire-type attacks. The best way to deal immense damage to Mega Skarmory is to use Mega Electric and Fire Pokémon for the raid battles that have Fast and Charged Attack types of Electric and Fire. Using a Shadow-type Mega Pokémon will deal additional damage, but it also takes additional damage. It is best to form a plan with your friends when creating a team to take on the Skarmory Super Mega Raid.
