The Maximum is one of the new unique weapons in STALKER 2, exclusive to the Cost of Hope DLC. It is the new variant of the SVU-MK S-3 Sniper Rifle. This new variant is specifically designed for close-range combat, instead of long-range fights. While exploring the new regions, especially the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant (CNPP), this weapon can help you take out some of the stronger mutants with ease. Maximum Sniper Rifle Location in STALKER 2: Cost of Hope

The Maximum Sniper Rifle weapon is located on the second floor of the Module IB building in the CNPP region. The Module IB building is one of the POIs on the map that you can explore whenever you gain access to this region. However, as it is the final region of the Zone, you must progress through the main DLC missions to enter the CNPP.

Once you have gained access to the CNPP region, you can find the Module IB building on the northeast side. It is one of the POIs, so easier to find on the map.

How to Get the Maximum Sniper Rifle in STALKER 2: Cost of Hope

The Maximum Sniper Rifle weapon is behind a locked door on the second floor of the Module IB Building. To open the door, you need a 4-digit code. The only way to get the code is to find the “Map of CNPP Monolith Stashes” document. This document is in a safe on the roof of Turbine Hall in the CNPP region. To get there, you have to take a portal inside an Armored Truck in the center of the region. The document reveals the code for the door on the second floor of the Module IB building.

NOTE: You can enter the code directly to open the door in Module IB without finding the document.

The code for the locked door in the Module IB building is “2014”. After unlocking the door, head inside to find the Maximum on the table, along with some ammo and bandages. Moreover, there is a safe in this room that you can loot for more supplies.
