Bayonetta 3: How to Unlock Costume Tab
Bayonetta 3 has a customization option for the character’s costume and players are quite confused about how to change the costume of Bayonetta throughout the campaign of the game because in order to change the costume, you’ll have to unlock the costume tab which is locked by default when you start the game.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how you can unlock the Costume Tab in Bayonetta 3.
How to Unlock Costume Tab
In order to change the costume, you need to go to the Costume Tab but if you go to the menu and switch through the tabs, you’ll come to know that the costume tab is locked. Now, there are two ways to open the Costume Tab.
- You’ll unlock the Costume Tab by completing the whole story of the game which will give you a new costume for Bayonetta and unlock the costume tab which means, you’ll have to play the game with one costume. This method is a long one and it’ll take you hours to complete the game to unlock the costume customization tab.
- The other method is that you go to Rodin’s Shop and buy a costume or a color scheme for Bayonetta with halos currency. Buying a costume or color scheme from Rodin will unlock the Costume Tab and you’ll also get a tutorial on the screen for the costume tab. By doing this method, you won’t have to complete all of the game to unlock the costume tab and you can easily change the costume and its color scheme throughout the gameplay of the story.

Both of these methods work in the game and by our understanding, the costume tab is unlocked when you get a costume since you don’t get costumes in the game and you only get it by ending the game which triggers the costume tab to unlock. So, buying the costumes from Rodin will also trigger the costume tab to unlock and when you buy the costume or color scheme, the game will open up a window of the Costume Tab to give you an overview of changing the costumes, colors, and hair color of Bayonetta.
There is also mentioned that as the story progresses, Rodin will increase the stock in his shop and when you visit him again in the game, he’ll have more costumes and color schemes for Bayonetta and players can change the costume of Bayonetta throughout the chapters of the game.
