In this guide, we’ll be covering the eighth chapter of Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon.

Chapter 8: Torn – Walkthrough

Follow the wolf’s tracks and jump over the green plant to the other side to absorb water power. Go back and climb down the ladder to get on the plant in the water. Use the water ability of Cheshire to get to the other side. Eliminate the enemy and go up the path to absorb another water power. Now, go back to the plant and use the water ability to go back and you will see a ladder on the side of the wolf’s tracks.

Go up the ladder and follow the path to absorb the water power/ It will reveal a structure in the water. Go back to the plant and go to the revealed structure. Shoot the water ability at the white sails in the middle of the structure to go up. Follow the wolf’s tracks and you will enter an illusion. Go up from the left side of the water to reach the portal. Interact with it to go inside the portal.

Torn (Acceleration) – Walkthrough

Save the game at the Lantern and go up the staircase to reach the locked gate. Use the Witch’s Pulse to unlock the gate. Clear the area from the enemies and go along the opened path. Loot the chest and go up the staircase to reach the bridge. Go ahead and use the Witch’s Pulse on the platform and then use Cheshire’s attacks to break from the portal. It will start a cutscene and after the cutscene, you will be back in the forest.

Follow the wolf’s tracks to reach another structure. Shoot the water ability at the sails to go up further. Go ahead on the platform and stomp on the mushroom with Stone Cheshire to go ahead. Go along the path and you will meet one of the wisps and a cutscene will start. After the cutscene, rest at the sanctuary to save the progress and talk with Ignis.

Talk to Ignis

Torn (Lake Nimueh) – Walkthrough

After talking to Ignis, select the wolf’s paw icon on the map to move to the Leafy Nook area. Once there, go to the left side of the sanctuary and absorb the water power to drain the water level. Go ahead and use Cheshire’s attacks to break the gate and reach the Lake Nimueh area. Follow the wolf’s tracks and walk over the vine to reach the other side and make your way to the flying platforms. Use Cheshire’s Water ability at the bridge to move it and go towards the wolf’s tracks.

You will enter another illusion and you need to move Cereza to the left side and Cheshire to the right side. Move Cheshire through the pond to go up on the platforms and move Cereza on the left side to go up on the bridge. Shoot the water ability of Cheshire to move the bridge and make your way to the portal. Interact with the portal to go inside the portal.

Torn (Compression) – Walkthrough

Save the game at the Lantern and go up the staircase to reach the locked gate. Use the Witch’s Pulse to unlock the gate. Clear the area from the enemies and go along the opened path. Loot the chest and go up the staircase to reach the bridge. Go ahead and use the Witch’s Pulse on the platform and then use Cheshire’s attacks to break from the portal.

Compression

You will be back in the forest and you will discover a new sanctuary. Save the game if you want and then follow the wolf’s tracks ahead on the path. Get on the plant in the water and use the water ability to cross the water and get on the platform with wolf’s tracks. As you get off the plant, you will get to fight the enemies. After defeating the enemies, get on the lily plant and use the water ability to go down the waterfall. It will trigger a cutscene and after the cutscene, the eighth chapter will be concluded.
