Content Warning: All Monsters and How to Avoid Them

Content Warning is the new co-op horror game with a unique gameplay style that requires players (up to 4) to submerge into the Old World and get footage of the creepy monsters and sounds to upload them later on Spooktube to go viral and make money. It is a fun experience and all but every monster has its own attack and it is better to learn how to avoid them to survive in the Old World and get back safely.

This guide will highlight all the monsters in Content Warning and how you can avoid them.

All Monsters in Content Warning and How you can Avoid them

There are over 20 monsters in Content Warning that are found throughout the Old World. Each monster has its own unique attack and approach to tackle the players which can deplete players’ HP. Slow them down, or even kill them instantly. We have gathered information on every monster in the game and labeled them with a name that they can be recognized with as there is no official name for them in the game.

The following section of this guide will provide brief information on all the monsters we have found and how you can avoid them if you run into them during your playthrough.

1. Spider

The Spider monster shoots webs at players to slow them down. If the spider reaches the trapped players in the web, it will kill them instantly.

  • Avoid Method: Upon getting stuck in the webs, start moving, running, and jumping in the opposite direction of the spider. You will most probably get out of the webs before the spider reaches you.

2. Snail Person

A monster looks like a small snail person that tries to catch you and deal small damage.

  • Avoid Method: Run out of the way if it tries to grab you. If you get grabbed by it, tell your friend/teammate to use a Shock Stick on it.

3. Mixer Head

A monster with a Kitchen Mixer on its head. It makes a mixer sound before rushing toward you in a straight line.

  • Avoid Method: Get out of its way to avoid getting hit by it. It is easy to dodge its rushing attack as it only runs in a forward direction. You can also make it run inside a wall to stun it.

4. Slurper

A monster looks like a starfish attached to the ceiling that tries to grab and pull players upon getting touched by its tongue.

  • Avoid Method: Upon getting caught by the Slurper, ask your friend to throw an item on it. You can charge and throw an item by holding the Q button and releasing it. However, if you are Solo, wait for a few moments and the Slurper will drop you automatically.

5. Boulder

A boulder-looking monster with tentacles coming out of it. It can suck players toward itself.

  • Avoid Method: Run away from it and use the cover or corners to stop getting sucked toward the Boulder.

6. Tall Humanoid Monster

A giant monster with a humanoid body and a small face but with sharp teeth. Getting spotted by it can be a nightmare as it is very fast and can kill you instantly if caught by it.

  • Avoid Method: Run as fast as you can and use the corners and covers to get out of sight.

7. Shadow Figure

A monster with a shadow figure that makes a loud noise before it snatches and kills you.

  • Avoid Method: Go under the light or quickly use the flashlight on it to make it disappear.

8. Slime

A big blob that can knock you over and separate you from your teammates.

  • Avoid Method: It is slow and harmless so, dodge out of its way to not get grabbed by it.

A giant trap monster traps a player inside it and kills them if the other players don’t solve the Captcha puzzle in three tries.

  • Avoid Method: Solve the Captcha puzzle in less than three tries to save your friend/teammate.

10. Gun Robot

A robot armed with a machine gun that spots with a red laser.

  • Avoid Method: Dodge the red laser to stay out of its sight.

11. Knifey

A small monster with a knife that stabs you multiple times.

  • Avoid Method: Run to dodge the stabbing attack and if you get hit by the attack, it will automatically run away after the attack and come back later.

12. Giant Ear

A monster with a giant ear as a head and a porous body.

  • Avoid Method: It is attracted to sound so, if you stop moving it will not follow you. You can also scare it away by yelling at it.

13. Bomber

A monster that throws explosions at you and jumps toward you before self-destructing.

  • Avoid Method: Dodge the explosion and when it starts glowing, run as fast as you can to let it detonate before it reaches you.

14. Angler

An Anglerfish-looking monster that attacks players who step into its light traps.

  • Avoid Method: Don’t step into the light blindly. Throw items when stepping into the lights to avoid getting attacked by the Angler.

15. Screaming Mouth

A monster with a set of teeth that screams at you to make you deaf for the round.

  • Avoid Method: Dodge it and run away as far as you can otherwise, you will not be able to hear anything including spooky sounds and comms from your friends.

16. Giant Eye

A monster with a giant eye with a club that will attack you if you stay too close to it or shine a light at it.

  • Avoid Method: Record it from a safe distance and don’t use any kind of light at it.

17. Zombie

The zombie monster is similar to the snail person who tries to grab you and deal small damage to it.

  • Avoid Method: Run away from it and it will stop following you after a short period.

18. Flicker

The flicker monster is probably the strongest in the game as it kills you instantly when you look at it. When it appears, your screen flickers and turns red.

  • Avoid Method: When your screen flickers, don’t look at it and just run away as far as you can.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
