You can have a child taught from the day a child is born. In this way, the characteristics of the teacher are passed on to the child.
- The first thing to do is to decide in which direction you want to steer the child. So it makes a big difference when it comes to choosing a teacher whether your child should become an intellectual, a general or a diplomat, for example.
- Based on this, find a teacher. You and your spouse can also be considered if the desired characteristics are to be found there.
- However, there is also a good reason for putting the child in education as a ward with someone else. In this way, you strengthen personal relationships, for example with relatives, with foreign vassals, or even with rulers. Given the importance of such tactical considerations in Crusader Kings III, this point should not be underestimated.
In general, the following always applies: When it comes to the characteristics of the potential teacher, those with the designation “training characteristics” are important. This means that the property is not innate, but can be passed on. Other factors such as a high level of intelligence then promote learning progress.
