Dead Island 2 – How to Defeat Nikki Gutte (Boss Fight)

Nikki Gutte is the third main boss that you will get to fight in the main story of Dead Island 2. When you have made your way back to Beverly Hills from Monarch Studios after defeating _________ Alesis Hernandez, you will meet up with Sam B. You will fight Nikki Gutte in the main story mission named “Justifiable Zombicide”. You cannot skip this fight as it is required to kill her for the progression in the main story of the game.

Defeating Nikki Gutte

Nikki Gutte is a Screamer Type Zombie and it is also the very first Screamer that you will fight in the game. Her scream has the ability to push you way back from her as well as slow down your speed. You will not be able to run faster while in the vicinity of her sonic waves. The major ability of her scream is that her scream attracts all the nearby zombies to her location so, your main priority should be taking out Nikki Gutte as soon as possible.

The Walkers will not stop coming for you until she is dead so, you will have to deal with her first and then go for the remaining zombies. The best way to deal damage to her is from the back. You can easily go behind her when she is screaming. Go around her sonic waves and attack her from behind and keep hitting her until she gains consciousness again. When she is up again, you will see her readying herself for the scream. Go to her backside again and then start hitting her with your weapon.

The best option is to use Elemental Weapons to deal more damage to her with the elemental effect. Once you have been successful in taking down Nikki Gutte, take out the rest of the zombies and complete the quest to earn your first gun of the game.
