Diablo IV: How To Craft And Use Malignant Invoker

Malignant Invoker is a key item for grinding in Diablo IV’s Season of Malignant. As players will be needing certain types of Malignant Hearts to buff up their class throughout the season, Malignant Invoker plays the role of spawning the required Malignant Monster that will drop the eligible Malignant Heart for the class. However, the only way to get Malignant Invoker is to craft them and then use them at Malignant Overgrowth found in Malignant Tunnels.

This guide will cover the method of crafting Malignant Invoker in Diablo IV’s Season of Malignant.

How to Craft Malignant Invoker in Diablo IV

To craft Malignant Invoker, players will have to unlock Cormond’s Workbench. Cormond’s Workbench is tied to the Seasonal Quests and after completing the Burning from Within quest, Cormond will settle outside of Orbei with his Workbench. Players will be able to craft Malignant Hearts, Malignant Invokers, and Crafted Cache which involves Uncertain Heart and Invoker. However, to craft every craftable item, players will be needing resources and Malignant Invokers are no exception.

Like Malignant Hearts, Malignant Invokers are also similar types that are used to invoke respective types of Malignant Monsters when used. The very first Malignant Invoker that players will get to craft in Season of Malignant is Brutal Malignant Invoker during the A Plague of Hatred quest. Players will have to gather Ichor of different Hearts which will be used as a resource to craft the Brutal Malignant Invoker.

To get Ichor, players can use the Unwanted Hearts and salvage them at Cormond’s Workbench or they can get it by taking part in certain events and completing the Malignant Tunnels. To craft Brutal Malignant Invoker, players will need the following resources:

• 20x Viscous Malignant Ichor
• 20x Devious Malignant Ichor
• 50x Brutal Malignant Ichor

Upon gathering all the required resources, players can craft it by selecting the Malignant Invoker category and then selecting the Brutal Invoker type. Similarly, to craft every type of Invoker, players will be needing 50x of that particular Malignant Ichor and 20x each of the other two Malignant Ichor. So, it does involve a bit of grinding to get resources but the main event comes after crafting the Invoker because players will have to use the Invoker to spawn the respective Malignant Monster type to get the required Malignant Heart type.

The Malignant Invokers that players can craft at Cormond’s Workbench are the following.

• Brutal Malignant Invoker
• Viscous Malignant Invoker
• Devious Malignant Invoker
• Wrathful Malignant Invoker (can only be crafted by crafting the Uncertain Invoker in the Crafted Cache category)

How to Use Malignant Invoker in Diablo IV

To use Malignant Invoker, players will have to enter the Malignant Tunnels. They can be found all over the world map and they are marked with a green leaf icon. The tunnels are filled with Malignant Monsters and after clearing the tunnels with the monster, players will find a Malignant Overgrowth at the end of the tunnel on which players can use the Malignant Invoker. Interacting with the right Malignant Overgrowth will use the Malignant Invoker at the disposal and spawn the respective Malignant Monster type. After defeating the monster, it will drop the same type of Malignant Heart that can be socketed in Jewelry and other items for certain bonuses.
