Escape From Tarkov: Cease Fire – Task (Streets of Tarkov)

Tasks are very important in Escape From Tarkov as they give certain EXP along with unlocking new items for the players. Completing tasks will also level up the Merchants and they will bring new items to their inventory that players can get. One of the new tasks that have been added to the game is Cease Fire which is given by Jaeger. You will have to cross Klimov Street safely by holding the Signal Flare to test if the rumor is true.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to complete Cease-Fire in Escape From Tarkov.

Cease Fire

Once you have unlocked the Cease Fire Task of Jaeger, he will tell you that some good people are trying to leave the city but the spot is guarded by snipers and he heard some kid saying that if you signal them, they will not shoot. Jaeger will give you the Initial Equipment “2x RSP-30 Reactive Signal Cartridge (Green)” for the task. You will have to get the Signal Pistol to shoot the Green Signal at Klimov Street.

You can get the Signal Pistol from the Marked Room as well as from the Flea Market. Once you have the Signal Pistol, make sure to put both of the Reactive Signal Cartridges in your inventory. Load into the Streets of Tarkov map with your PMC character and go to the south side of the map to reach Klimov Street.

Once you have reached Klimov, load the Signal Pistol with the Signal Cartridge and then go ahead on the street to cross it. If you try to cross the street without shooting the Green Signal, you will be shot down by the snipers and all of your gear will be lost. After shooting the Signal, cross the street and go to the western side of the street to get to the extract. Once you extract through Klimov Street, you will complete the Cease Fire task.
