Farming Simulator 22 only 60 FPS: Remove the FPS limitation
Anyone who recently bought the new Farming Simulator 22 for the PC and started the game for the first time may have noticed that there is an FPS limit in the game. The FPS lock is at least in the current version at 60 FPS. The 60 frames per second are anything but bad, but why not increase the FPS when your own hardware can display the LS22 on the monitor with more FPS? The question arises, can you only play the LS22 with 60 FPS or is there a setting in a configuration file or a console command with which you can remove the FPS limit ?
Activate and open the console
Yes, you can easily remove the FPS limit in Farming Simulator 22. Before you can do that you first have to activate the console in the game. In order to activate the console and open it in the game, you have to change an entry in the following configuration file.
- Open the game.xml in the directory “C: \ Users \ username \ Documents \ My Games \ FarmingSimulator2022” with a text editor.
- Under then change the value from “false” to “true” and save the changes.
If you now start Farming Simulator 22 and load the game, then you can call up the console in the game using the ^ key (circumflex key).

Remove the FPS limit and show more than 60 FPS
In order to remove the FPS limitation and display the FS22 with more than 60FPS, you do not have to open the console, but with the change in the configuration file, you can now also use various developer features via the F keys on the keyboard. For example, you can display the FPS using the F2 button and adjust the FPS limitation using the F3 button.
The prerequisite for more than 60 FPS in the FS22 is of course that your own hardware can also display this.
