Final Fantasy XIV: How to complete the Starlight Celebration holiday event

Christmas also comes to Final Fantasy XIV and today we have to talk about how to complete its Christmas event, this year’s Starlight Celebration.

Compared to the Christmas event of other years, the one in 2021 is much longer and it takes a lot of walking to reach its end. The reward? Two cute minions: Wind-up Rudy and Squirrel Emperor.

How to complete the Starlight Celebration holiday event in Final Fantasy XIV

As usual, if you want to start the quest for this event, you will have to go to Gridania, more specifically the Aeterita from Min Khetto’s Amphitheater. There you will have to go to X: 10.2, Y: 9.4 to talk to Amh Garanjy and start the first of the two quests for the event (A Very Yeti Starlight, not a blue quest).

From there, what you have to do is act as a messenger and talk to the following NPCs in the following locations:

• Rissai (Old Gridania X: 11.2, Y: 8.4)
• Rissai (New Gridania X: 11.7, Y: 13.4)
• Rudy (Old Gridania X: 9.4, Y: 7.8)
• Rudy (Old Gridania X: 6.5, Y: 8.2)
• Rudy (New Gridania X: 11.7, Y: 13.4)
• Amh Garanjy (Old Gridania X: 10.2, Y: 9.4)

After this, you are not done yet! Amh herself will give you the second quest of the event, Time to Shine, and by completing it you will get your two minions. Again, the order of the locations and the NPCs you will have to talk to is as follows:

• Baenfaeld (Central Shroud X: 22.2, Y: 21.8)
• Rudy (Central Shroud X: 21.8, Y: 23.3)
• Rudy (Central Shroud X: 20.5, Y: 21.9)
• Rudy (Central Shroud X: 21.5, Y: 23.2)
• Baenfaeld (Central Shroud X: 22.2, Y: 21.8)
• Rudy (Central Shroud X: 21.5, Y: 23.2)
• Amh Garanjy (Old Gridania X: 10.2, Y: 9.4)

Once you finish circling and get to talk to Amh Garanjy you can get your reward. Also, if you want confetti, you can get it by talking to Amh over and over again.
