The following guide will help you complete Chapter 2 of Harold Halibut.

Harold Halibut – Chapter 2 Walkthrough

There are six sub-chapters included in the second chapter that players must progress through by completing the main tasks in each one. All the sub-chapters in the second chapter are as follows.

  • Chapter 2.1 – The Creature from the Sea
  • Chapter 2.2 – Taking Care
  • Chapter 2.3 – The Right Care
  • Chapter 2.4 – All Water Conspiracy
  • Chapter 2.5 – The Creature Awakens
  • Chapter 2.6 – Leaving the Fedora

You can find the main tasks related to each sub-chapter in their respective section in this walkthrough guide.

Chapter 2.1 – The Creature from the Sea

The chapter begins with a cutscene with Professor Mareaux consulting on the creature that Harold found in the Filtration System at the end of Chapter One. As the cutscene ends, you will get a task to clean up the storage room. Go into the storage room on the right side and interact with an item to pick it up.

Now, bring it to Harold’s room and drop it. Repeat the process of decluttering the storage room two more times and the third time will switch the cleaning to a unique Tetris-looking style. Keep throwing the stuff in Harold’s room, it doesn’t matter if you throw them in an arranged order or not.  

After cleaning the storage room, go out of Harold’s room and interact with the professor to start a brief cutscene and get the main tasks.

All Main Tasks in Chapter 2.1

Deliver the Blood Sample

Professor Mareaux will hand you over the blood sample for analysis that you need to deliver to the pharmacy in the Utility District. Go out of the laboratory and head into the tube. Select the Central Station as the destination. Once you are in the Central Station, head out of the tube and enter the Tube 4a on the right side. Select the Utility District as the destination.

Go out of the tube and head to the right side and the pharmacy will be the first shop that you come across. Interact with Sunny in the shop to give her the blood sample to run an analysis. After a few moments, she will hand you over the Blood Replacement.

Bring the Blood Replacement to Fishy

Upon getting the blood replacement from Sunny, go back to the Lab District via the same path you came from. Go into the laboratory and interact with the fishy to start a cutscene.

Time to Sleep

After the cutscene, it’s time to sleep. Go into Harold’s room and interact with the bed to end the day.

Chapter 2.2 – Taking Care

Waking up the next day will instantly give you a main task.

Check on Fishy’s Condition

Go out of Harold’s room and into the storage room to check on Fishy’s condition by interacting with it. It will start a cutscene and after the cutscene, you will get the next main task.

Ask Sunny for Help

Go to Sunny at her Pharmacy Shop in the Utility District to ask for her help. Sunny will give you the antibiotics to help Fishy.

Bring the Antibiotics to Fish

After getting the antibiotics from Sunny, go back to the laboratory in the Lab District. Go into the storage room and interact with Fishy to give it the antibiotics.

Help Brigitte Again

Upon giving the antibiotics to Fishy, you will get a message from Brigitte asking for your help. Go to Brigitte’s office in the Energy District. As you make your way to Brigitte, you will meet the professor along the way. After speaking with the professor, head inside the office and interact with Brigitte.

Make your way to the next room and interact with the first console to stop the conveyor belt when a red rock appears. Go to the next console to perform four different actions on the rock.

  1. Crush
  2. Coat
  3. Sugar
  4. Music

Now, repeat the same process one more time. Throughout this whole process, Brigitte will be guiding you so follow her lead to complete this sequence.

Time to Sleep

After speaking with Brigitte, it’s time to sleep. Go back to the laboratory and head into Harold’s room to sleep and end the day.

Chapter 2.3 – The Right Care

Similar to the previous sub-chapter, you will get a main task as soon as you wake up the next day.

Check Fishy’s Condition

Go to the storage room and interact with Fishy to check on its current condition. It will start a cutscene revealing that Fishy’s condition hasn’t been improved.

Special Medication

Go to Sunny’s pharmacy shop in the Utility District to ask for some special medication for Fishy. Upon asking Sunny for special medication, she will present you two medications from which you will get a choice to choose any one. You can choose any medication you prefer as there is not any impact on the story whether which one you choose.

Bring the Special Medication to Fishy

After getting the special medication, go back to the Laboratory in the Lab District. Head into the storage room to begin a cutscene with the professor and Harold will give the medicine to Fishy.

Meet Brigitte for Dinner

Upon giving the special medication to Fishy, you will receive a message from Brigitte about the dinner that they planned. Head out of the laboratory and make your way to the tube. Select the Agora District as the destination. Go to the right side and head up the staircase to reach the second floor of the plaza, and then head to the right side to meet Brigitte.

Meeting Brigitte will start a cutscene showcasing the daily routine of Harold taking care of Fishy and it will automatically skip a week ahead.

Chapter 2.4 – All Water Conspiracy

After a week of taking care of Fishy, go out of Harold’s room to begin a cutscene with Professor Mareaux which will lead to another cutscene. Once you have watched the cutscene and got control over Harold, access the PDA to read the message of The Lightkeepers to get your first main task.

Lightkeepers on the Toilet

Go out of the Laboratory and head into the LVL 1. Head down the first staircase and then go to the left in the toilets. It will start a cutscene in which the Lightkeepers will tell you to get a Camera.

Steal the Camera

Go back to the Laboratory to have a brief cutscene with the professor. After the cutscene, head down to Harold’s room and interact with the cabinet at the start of the room to get the camera.

Bring the Cam Back

Once you have the Camera, make your way back to the toilets and enter the cubicle to start a cutscene. After the cutscene, you will get to control a toy car. This section is very linear so, keep on going straight in the ventilation system until you reach giant ice pieces. Turn right and left respectively to the ice pieces to reach a vent over the CEO’s office to begin another cutscene.

Show Mareaux the Recording

After the cutscene, head back to the Laboratory to show the recording to Professor Mareaux and Cyrus.

Bring the Box to Cyrus

As the cutscene ends, pick up the box from the center table in the laboratory and make your way to Cyrus’s new office in the Lab District. Head down to LVL 1 by going down both of the staircases and then enter the first room on the right side. It will begin another cutscene.

Ask Rafi for Help

Go to the tube and select the Agora Arcade as the destination. Go to the right side to reach the plaza and enter the Game Arcade shop. Head inside and speak with Rafi standing behind the counter.

Tell Cy that Rafi Refused

After speaking with Rafi, head back to the Lab District and you will see Coco (Zoya’s Bird). Chase after Coco into the laboratory and it will begin a cutscene in which the professor will catch Coco. Coco will be returned to Zoya automatically so, you can continue on with the main task. Head into Cyrus’s office to share the bad news of Rafi refusing to help.

Drinks with Tommy

After sharing the bad news, you will receive a message from Tommy. Open the PDA to read the message. Go back to the Agora Arcade and then into the Gerturde’s Bier Zone to meet Tommy. It will begin another cutscene which will conclude this subchapter.

Chapter 2.5 – The Creature Awakens

As you wake up the next day, you will get the main task right away.

Look after Fishy

Go out of Harold’s room and into the storage room to see Fishy. It will start a cutscene in which Fishy will show its first signs of consciousness.

Ask Chris about the Book

After the cutscene, go out of the laboratory and head into the tube. Select the Social District as the destination. Go to the right and enter Chris’s classroom to ask him about a nice book. He will go out to get a book for you but make you a substitute teacher for the classroom.

Start asking any questions you prefer until Chris comes back. Once he is back, he will give you the book.

Teach Fishy our Language

Now, make your way back to the laboratory in the Lab District and go into the storage room to start another cutscene which will conclude this subchapter.

Chapter 2.6 – Leaving the Fedora

The final subchapter of Chapter Two is straightforward. Head out of Harold’s room as he wakes up to start a cutscene with the professor and Weeoo (Fishy). As the cutscene ends, follow the professor to the back of the laboratory to see a submarine.

Another cutscene will begin in which you will get to hop in the submarine with Weeoo to find her home. You will get to control the submarine in the open water so stay relaxed and keep on going until another cutscene starts which will conclude Chapter Two.
